(March 15, 2021)- With one billion pounds of recycled post-consumer plastic collected and counting, Trex Companys NexTrex retail recycling program presents suppliers with an opportunity to be part of one of the largest plastic recycling initiatives in North America. To recognize existing partners for their commitment to sustainability and encourage others to get involved, Trex® has launched a new supplier incentive program that will reward partners with more than just good karma points for promoting and collecting post-consumer plastic film for recycling with NexTrex®.

Common contaminants to be cautious of:
Moisture
Hard plastics
Cardboard
Strapping, twine, or tape
Rubber bands
PVDC (Saran) films or PVC (meat wrap)
Oil/grease
Metal
Trash or loose paper
Hazardous materials or medical waste


Baling Guidelines:
Bales preferred to be floor loaded without pallets
Either plastic or metal banding is acceptable
Preferred bale size is 24" x 36" x 42" minimum to 36" x 48" x 72" maximum
750 lbs. minimum is preferred
Bale integrity must be maintained through shipping, unloading and storage


Truckload or Less Than Truckload Shipments:
Seller name and Trex® PO number must be listed on a signed bill of lading

Competitively priced per pound
Payment terms are a minimum of net 45
Down-stroke balers are available with various payment options
Baled materials will be collected by Trex® at your convenience
Trex® can provide a road-worthy trailer for storage and shipment if necessary
